Life hi to all who know me .i went to several school though out my life .seem like it perpare me for the life i liveing now [army] .been in army life for 20 .never onces got station at home .but visted inbetween the tours .i enjoy school .especilley high school .beening in a chior in 9 th grade & appear on tv was a thrill i never forget .even though i spill cholated on my blouse .which came out .thank goodness .during my travel had only one pet [pekenees ] ..then now i have seven .six chulula one pug .hope to be at all my school reuion .well my plan changed on moveing to indiana .now its tenn .to be with my daughter .hope to see all my classmates .soon . Military i married in 1959 to an army privated [jack roberts] .had to go to ft knox to get my id made. which was a 36 bus trip .had to ask several gi where to go .upon recied id & health card .i return home [louisville ] .waiting on orders to join hubby .which never came .i enbark to hawaiiin 1960 .been in the army of 20 yrs .travel to hawaii , ft riley [love that tour] was there twices .then to germany [k- town .] then to ft polk [six month ] then he got orders for viet nam .i return to indiana for a year ].then orders for germany [banber ] love that tour .had three children doing thoses yrs .really enjoy seening the world & meeting different people .i learn to overcome my shyness .& to be indepent too .which was hard .but knowing my hubby was severing his country .made me proud to be part of the army life .it had its up & down .during his 20 yrs . hardest part was leaveing my family .seeing kin died while we were overseas .was very hard to cope with .the most tour i didnt want to see was when he left for viet nam .thoses letters & taps help me though it .not knowing if there be a knock on my door one day .telling me hes dead .thats was one of worst fear in my life & kids .onces he was at home for thirty day leave .we got orders for ft polk .seen like faith took over our lives moveing around was left up to me .packing for the tour .decided what to store ,sell .or pack .after awhile i got to be a prob at moveing .it was harded on the kids army life .loseing all the friends they...Expand for more
